HOT NEWS in 2020!! Belofte 0.9.12 & 2.0.8 released

Belofte 0.9.12 and 2.0.8 have been released under GNU GPL v2.0. Still more improvements and playing level. Git repository access here.

In the Chess app on your Mac, choose Chess Preferences, then select Allow Player to Speak Moves. When you see the feedback window (it shows a microphone icon with a fluctuating loudness indicator), press the shortcut key (the key you specified in Dictation preferences), then speak a command. Try not to hesitate while speaking.

I am looking looking for Linux PPC owners so I can publish a Belofte PPC Linux version.


There are different sub-platforms on the Mac. There is Mac OS 7, 8, 9 and then Mac OS X with or without classic. While the older platforms are of use for the users who did not upgrade there machines recently, this site is mostly oriented towards Mac OS X. The users of the older platforms are not left alone though and their programmes are also listed.
